Take a bunch of different styles of punk — speedy early hardcore, moody post-punk, abrasive noise rock, mosh-worthy crossover — and you have Manchild, a Reno Nevada band with scene vets. Sharing songwriting equally, Manchild play aggressive and memorable songs about the evil that people do, and the positive journey to triumph from that same evil. Formed in 2021, they have a debut album, “Well Managed Anger,” due out in 2023 on Reno label ToneMark Sounds.
