Lol What? started as a solo project where I’d write songs that didn’t quite fit the bands I was playing in at the time. After about 5 years of writing songs for fun on the side, I thought it would be fun to get some buddies together to play them. Bryan Ball joined in and the songs came to life for the first time. We don’t claim a particular genr, it comes from all over the place, but we call it doodle pop. We’re a fun, loud, high energy band you can shake your booty or pit to.
