General Information: The Grand Theater is located inside of the Grand Sierra Resort, close to the LUX Nightclub entrance. There are several bars throughout the venue. General admission area has separate bar area. Tiered plush seating comprises the majority of the venue. The GSR recently completed a multi-million dollar remodeling of the theater, including a complete upgrade of the sound system.

Our take on this venue: This is a great venue to see a show in the Reno area, and very accommodating. There is plenty to do at the GSR before or after the show as well. Sound is incredible and clear. You can get pretty good photos from a cell phone, but SLR cameras require a press pass for this venue. Aisle space is wide enough if you need to shimmy through to your seat without too much disruption. Merch and restroom lines at this venue move particularly slow. A word to the wise- do not try to self-upgrade your seats, security is hyper vigilant. Large screens help to maximize visibility throughout the venue.
