The young Connecticut band Anxious comes from the hardcore scene, but the band’s music isn’t really hardcore. Instead, Anxious specializes in a sort of revved-up melodic emo that sometimes comes out as full-on pop-punk with Title Fight are a clear influence, for example. At the end of 2020, the band released a two-song EP called New Shapes and their latest release is a cover of Elliott Smith’s “Bled White” from earlier this year.

Webbed Wing will also be hopping on the bill. The project of Philadelphia-based Taylor Madison, formerly of the grunge band Superheaven, is currently on tour with Anxious, both as support for Drug Church.
